Microsoft Publisher is retiring. We built something to help.

PubKeep, the Publisher you keep. Bulk .pub to PDF today, desktop app coming.

For years, the organizations we work with have quietly run on Microsoft Publisher: church bulletins, member newsletters, event flyers, program booklets, photo calendars. On October 1, 2026, Microsoft 365 removes Publisher, and on October 13 the perpetual versions lose support. After that, the .pub files people have built for years won’t open in any Microsoft app, and Word, PowerPoint, and the usual alternatives don’t open them either.

We kept hearing the same two worries: how do I save what I’ve already made, and how do I keep publishing once Publisher is gone?

So we built PubKeep.

PubKeep Converter lets you bulk-convert .pub files to PDF, a whole folder at once into exact PDFs, page for page and font for font, so your archive is safe no matter what you move to next. The first 3 files are free to try on your own documents.

And PubKeep Desktop is a desktop replacement for Publisher that opens .pub files natively so you keep editing the way you always have, buy once, no subscription. It is in active development, with a founder license for early users.

If your organization has a Publisher archive, or you support people who do, start with our Publisher end-of-life guide and convert what matters before the deadline.
